野口久子さん（84歳）、松田貴美江さん（73歳）は、品川区の公共施設”こみゅにてぃぷらざ八潮”にあるTecgeniusDTM作曲講座の生徒さんで、2年間の作曲の成果を記念して同世代の人たちの一助になればとオリジナルCDを制作しました。
お二人は、終活の在り方を考えデジタル（パソコンで作曲）で伝え残すことでお悔みに来て頂いたお友達＆知人に、記憶に残る…新しい終活の在り方を伝えたいそうです。同世代の人たちの励みになれば幸いですね！

It is one of Tchaikovsky's three major ballets, and over 100 years after its premiere, many revised editions have been made. By the way, the nutcracker means a tool for cracking a nutcracker originally shaped like a doll.

交響曲第6番 ヘ長調 作品68は、ドイツ古典派の作曲家ルートヴィヒ・ヴァン・ベートーヴェン（1770年 - 1827年）が1808年に完成させた6番目の交響曲。古典派交響曲としては異例の5楽章で構成されており、第3楽章から第5楽章は連続して演奏され、全曲及び各楽章に描写的な標題が付けられるなど、ベートーヴェンが完成させた9つの交響曲の中では合唱を導入した交響曲第9番と並んで独特の外形的特徴を持ちます。田舎の生活の思い出」とされ、「シンフォニア・パストレッラ」は音による絵画的描写ではなく感情の表現であることが強調されています。

アイネ・クライネ・ナハトムジーク』(Eine kleine Nachtmusik) ト長調 K.525は、 ヴォルフガング・アマデウス・モーツァルトが作曲したセレナードのひとつである 。kleineは「小さな」の意の形容詞kleinの女性形の主格、Nachtmusikは、Nacht（夜）+Musik（音楽）の合成女性名詞で、「小さな夜の曲」という意味である。本作はモーツァルトの楽曲の中でも非常に有名な曲の一つである。1787年8月10日にウィーンで作曲が完了されました。この期日はオペラ・ブッファ『ドン・ジョヴァンニ』の作曲中の時期にあたる。ただし何らかの機会のために作曲されたと考えられるが、初演に関する史料は残されていない。父レオポルト・モーツァルトの死（1787年5月28日死去）の2ヶ月あまり後に作曲されました。

『英雄ポロネーズ』は、1842年に作曲されたショパンのピアノ独奏曲「ポロネーズ第6番変イ長調」作品53。ポロネーズとはフランス語で「ポーランド風」の意味です。ショパンが亡くなる1年前の1848年、フランスでは2月革命が勃発していた。かつてショパンと深い関係を持ったフランスの女流作家ジョルジュ・サンドは、当時小規模な新聞を発行しており、エッセイ等で政治的なメッセージを精力的に発信していた。次々と銃弾に倒れていく革命の労働者たち。彼女はショパン『ポロネーズ第6番変イ長調』を聴きながら、ショパンへの手紙の中で次のように書き記したという。霊感！武力！活力！疑いなくこれらの精神はフランス革命に宿る！これより、このポロネーズは英雄たちの象徴となる！

『剣の舞』は、1942年に作曲されたアラム・ハチャトゥリアンのバレエ『ガイーヌ』の最終幕で用いられる楽曲である。この楽曲は、作曲者ハチャトゥリアンが『ガイーヌ』を制作した当初、この曲は含まれていなかった。しかし初演前日になって「クルド人が剣を持って戦いの踊りを踊る」場面が追加されることになり、ハチャトゥリアンは急遽その場面のための曲を作曲する必要に迫られた。そして彼は踊りにふさわしいリズムを机を指で叩きながら徹夜で考案した末に現在の曲で使用されているリズムを閃き、一挙に曲を作り上げたと伝えられている。

1882年にヨハン・シュトラウス2世は、ピアニストであり親友でもあった当時71歳のフランツ・リストと即興演奏パーティで同席した時、余興でまとめ上げたといわれる。当時ヨハン・シュトラウス2世も3度目の結婚で得た幸福感を味わっていたことが曲名や曲想に反映されたという説もある。題名は春の声とあるが…短いイントロに続き、第1ワルツが始まる。その後3つのワルツとコーダが続く簡素な構成である。

『ツィゴイネルワイゼン』（独：Zigeunerweisen ）作品20は、スペイン生まれのヴァイオリニストであるサラサーテが作曲、1878年に完成した管弦楽伴奏付きのヴァイオリン独奏曲である。本作は派手で劇的でありながら哀感を持ち合わせる技巧的なヴァイオリン曲として知られ、題名は「ジプシーの旋律」という意味である。ドイツ語では「ツィゴイナ（ー）ヴァイゼン」とするほうが現代の発音に近く、また日本語ではチゴイネルワイゼンと表記される。曲の途中の口笛の音が、哀愁に満ちていて感情を揺さぶるアレンジになっています。

このシリーズは、ディズニーのファンタジアをモチーフに1992年に企画されました。音楽を制作するときにクラシック音楽をどんなに素晴らしくアレンジしてもカバー音楽の領域を超えることが出来ませんでした。しかし音楽家“堤照薫”の努力により、ドラム&パーカッション（リズムセクション）のアレンジを加えることにより新しいクラシックバージョンの音楽が誕生したのです。
